To me, chinese food is always better if the place is not so clean....the plate is not so white...the cook is the same person that takes the order..and of course, it's a place where everyone talks in hokkien.

I firmly believe that places like these serves more personality than food. In fact, even the food will have a mixture of personality of the cook and the customer. The outcome, you get to eat the food that you want according to what you want. That's what I call full satisfaction!!

For a 'sleek' chinese cuisine restaurant/cafe, the food is nice, but lacks the extra 'flava'. It's just nice the first time, then it gets 'plainer' the more frequent you go.
